Ingredients:
-fish of your choice
-garlic cloves 12 to 15
-ginger 1 inch roughly chopped
Red Onion, grated- 15 medium (around 130 gms)
Curry leaves- 15-20
Tamarind, soaked in water- 4 tbsp juice
2 hand full shaved coconuts
Salt to taste- 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing- 2 tbsp ( optional)
Oil - 3 tbsp
-chilli powder
turmeric powder
Preparation:
Clean, wash and pat dry the fish pieces. Add the turmeric, fish tamarind , salt and mix well. Set aside for 30 mins.
-cook the shaved coconut flakes in fish tamarind in the cooker for 3 steams.
To prepare add the oil, wait till it heats up. Now add the garlic cloves and other ingredients as shown in the video.
Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves, mix and simmer for a minute.
Serve with rice.
