Talking To College Students About Managing Technology Addiction, Avoiding Distraction, And Deep Work
It can be very meaningful and fun to send your students a little video update outside of class time. It's now easier than ever before to film a short clip and expand on an interesting point or question that came up in class, which you might not have had time to properly address at that moment. So here's me doing just that. After a lesson related to social media and technology addiction, I promised some enthusiastic students I would say a bit more on the subject later in the week and make a post in our WeChat group.
