This is an explanation in Tagalog (in English content) about what is df or degrees of freedom in Statistics and its importance in using the ANOVA or analysis of variance; it is useful in determining the F-Critical Value once the F-statistic or calculated value is determined in the ANOVA table. This is an important concept in the analysis of variance especially in the analysis of observations from different experimental designs.

The use of "df" or degrees of freedom or its concept was not very much appreciated as part of the analysis. In finding the critical value at a given significance level, the df numerical value is used as the reference in finding the F-tabulated value in the F-Table. This value is used to compare the statistic or computed F-value for making important decisions whether the different means vary or not significantly different.

Post-hoc test is used after obtaining statistical result that mean comparisons yielded significant differences. This post-hoc topic will be tackled in another video about statistical analysis. Please watch also the next series on different experimental designs for field experiments.
