Silver Bells (Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course Christmas Hits Level 1)
Silver Bells is a beautiful Christmas song originally written by Livingston and Evans, arranged here by Sharon Aaronson for Alfred Publishing Company. I love this arrangement because it's easy to learn for a beginner, but it still feels complete thanks to the overlapping harmony in the refrain. Notice that you do need to help bring the melody out over the harmony. If all the notes are played at the same volume, it will sound less organized and your listener will have to work harder to pick the melody out. This is a challenge for new players, but if you master it, it will elevate your playing to the next level!
