simple playback machine
I've been a bit all over the place lately. Between trying to use the Analog Four and Octatrack together, making more "mastering" templates in FL Studio, trying to learn how to make my own analog devices, and playing video games, I haven't had much time to finish any tracks. Hopefully the few clips and project files I've been posting on Patreon have been interesting! I might turn them into full tracks one day.
I made a few patterns in FL Studio using a piano plugin called Una Corda, and my favorite plugin called Toxic Biohazard 3. It's so old that some features don't work properly. It's an FM synth that I used to fight GAS for the Digitone back before I caved and bought one.
I've also been trying to do less post processing, and only used MJUC (compressor) into Limiter 6. There was a nasty click on the kick drum that I only noticed after recording the whole thing, I had to go over all of them to declick them as much as I could. Ironically, making this the most post-processed track I've made to date.
