YouTube a little squirrely this morning. Bear with us. Lol. We just passed the 1000 video download presentation. Thanks to all who are still with me Just music from a different art form almost. Stuff you won’t hear commercially but award winning stuff.

A friend of mine Billy Kemp recently revived my song “Onions” and for reasons, not well understood used it for the his latest album title. Haha. Awesome!

I’m a little weird, just a little maybe very weird who knows? I was a middle child I had to carve out a completely different path than my older brother and older sister, who were both straight, straight, a student, etc. I loved them both and especially revered my brother but later in life more my sister Susan. I miss them both. I’m still here. Should I carry on? What would Susan do? What would John do? I modeled myself after my brother most of my life. But I had some thing happen when I was 20 in 1969–70. I had a spiritual awakening.

It came out of the blue, not anywhere near my home, but clear out on the West Coast near LA but on the beach of Venice, California. I could not believe that a paradise like this was just “there.” They’re for the asking The people were a bit different and I experienced culture shock. Here I was a West Virginian fresh off the farm so to speak. These people were the pit ultimate. So I was blessed to be among such people, learning another way. one might say a better way. Eventually, I began to feel that I was being born again. God became the center of my life. not just some idea or some thing I had learned as a child. I had a friend who taught me so much. Every day with her was like a class in living. Bingo was her name. But Jerry Harvey also was a mentor. I think I was a pretty good pupil. Gone was the sarcasm. The sarcastic, cynical Paige was gone. I had turned the page. Not completely my own, making or doing I was being guided and directed, set apart from who I used to be. The Incomplete One. Another path was laid out before me. It was almost completely unknown to me in my former life. I don’t know why these people in California accepted me as one of their own. This West Virginia hillbilly, struggling to fit in.
