UVic’s newest student housing and dining buildings, Čeqʷəŋín ʔéʔləŋ and Sŋéqə ʔéʔləŋ, are the largest Passive House buildings in Canada. Passive House buildings consume up to 90% less heating and cooling energy than conventional buildings. They also maintain a consistent temperature and are very comfortable.
