Çarpanak Island (Armenian: Կտուց կղզի Ktouts kghzi) is an island located in the northeastern region of Lake Van, near the village of Çitoren, in the central Van province. Accessible by boat from the village pier, the island is closed to tourism due to the risk of damaging its natural habitat. There is also a monastery dedicated to St. John, believed to have been built in the 9th or 11th century, on the island. Known as the Ktuts Monastery, only the church section of the structure remains standing today.
The island is home to many species found nowhere else in Türkiye.
