What insects are bumblebees and how do they fly with such small wings?
They resemble bees, but are decidedly larger and hairier. They may seem clumsy at first glance, but beware of underestimating them! Because bumblebees are truly nature's gems. We've reconstructed in 3D the flight of these pollinating insects, among the most efficient on the planet, capable of flapping their wings more than 230 times a second, adapting the amplitude and angle of their beat to the wind and rain! Nothing stops them... or almost, they do have a weakness; our ethologist, Margherita Paiano, will tell us about this and their extraordinary abilities. Ready to take flight with the bumblebee?
