Why you NEED to know Typography Anatomy
My main goal on this channel is to teach foundational graphic design, which is what you would learn if you go to design school. Typography anatomy is basically every graphic designer's first day in typography class. It's not exactly the most exciting thing to learn, but it will help you become a better designer. Honestly, my take is that knowing these type principles changes how you see your type, which opens up opportunities in design, which equals more opportunities for you!
You can't learn more advanced techniques if you never learned the basics, and if at the very least, you should be able to talk about your type intelligently.
