I was unable to downgrade the Bluetooth firmware on my Xiaomi M365 electric scooter from 081 to 072 using the M365 DownG app, although there are a lot of written tutorials and even YouTube videos saying that it should be possible.
Keep in mind that firmware 1.5.1 kame with updated Bluetooth firmware that improves security, but also blocks you from flashing custom firmware over Bluetooth. You still have the possibility to use a hardware programmer, like an ST-Link adapter to flash the firmware that you need, but this is much harder to do compared to flashing over Bluetooth.
