Deus Ex Machina?
For this entry, I wanted to take inspiration from a modern trend: AI. Around the time this video was conceptualized, ChatGPT, an open-AI software, had been making waves across the internet. I also watched Everything Everywhere All At Once and the Matrix for the first time in class and by combining these Ideas, I came up with the idea of AIs/NPCs in another world intersecting with ours. I also chose comedy as while I am not the best stuntman or special effects artist and I don't have a budget (the entire film cost $0), my strong suits are my writing and editing. By combining these qualities, I was able to make this simple story about a student who uses AIs of a simulation to write an essay (similar to how some people cheat using ChatGPT) but ultimately fails.
