How to Set Up Automations with Leona™ Smart App
Would you like your lights to turn on when the sun sets, get notifications to your phone if there is movement in the living room, or your coffee machine to turn on at a specific time in the morning? If so, this video is for you!
To create automation with your Leona™ Smart devices that activate under certain conditions of your choice, follow the next set of steps:
1. From the Home screen, tap the tab for the Scene menu and then select the “Automations” tab, and then the + sign in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Select the condition that needs to be met for your automation to activate.
3. Select the task you want your Leona™ Smart app or device (or group of devices) to perform:
Tap “Run the Device” if you’d like to select a device to perform a specific action when your specific condition is met.
Tap “Select Smart Scenes” if you’d like your condition to activate a previously created Tap-to-Run preset.
Tap “Send Notification” if you’d like your condition to send a message to your smartphone.
Tap “Delayed Start” if you’d like to add a delay to your task before it starts once your condition is met.
5. In the “If/Then” screen you can edit the name of your automation by clicking on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen or make any other edits to the automation.
6. Once you are satisfied with your selections, you can press “Save”. Your automations will also be available for activation via Amazon Alexa if you’ve already set up that integration.
7. You can now access your automations from the Scene menu if you ever need to change them in any way.
