Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 Codename Trusty Tahr has been approved by the Ubuntu Technical Board to be a Long Term Support (LTS) Release Supported for 3 years: http://ubuntugnome.org/lts-status/

Why only 3 years and not 5 years?

You will come to know that lack of manpower is the main and could be the only reason why we couldn't go for 5 years instead of 3 :)
Xubuntu 12.04 LTS is supported for 3 years :)
Lubuntu 14.04 LTS (the very first LTS for Lubuntu Team) will be supported for 3 years :)
For the same reason - lack of manpower - these flavours including Ubuntu GNOME can't have 5 years.
That is WHY we ask people to join ;)

Soon, in less than a month - exactly in 17th of April, 2014 - Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 LTS will be released as a stable version supported for 3 years.
This, of course, calls for more active contributions from everyone. More help and support. More volunteers. So, the 2nd aim of this video is to recruit more interested people.
We do need more help. We do need more manpower. We do need more active contributions.
