Always enable hardware virtualization when running virtual machines.
I used VMWare Player for this.. I have an original Windows 2000 Professional CD with Box, also Windows Vista Ultimate in it's original CD and case, Windows XP Professional (Home Edition too) and Windows 98 Second Edition!
I have alot of old software sitting on a shelf I built.. all in their original boxes, my family has collected them overtime.
