2020 will go down as one of the wildest years in the history books!
I am fortunate to live in the country where it is generally quite peaceful and quiet. I'm sure many of you would enjoy the country as we observe the insanity and chaos in some of our big cities.
Aside from the violence, what we are observing is irrational behavior and mob mentality. There is also a display of extreme intolerance to a diversity of thought and opinion.
What I would like to see and I'm sure many of you agree is more critical thinking and independent thinking.
For our society to thrive, it is more important to focus on "how to think" rather than "what to think".
It is a battle between Psychology and Philosophy.
Those who use Psychology as a weapon wish to appeal to our emotions and to get us to "react" rather than "think".
Psychology can be a very dangerous weapon and unfortunately, there are incentives to weaponizing psychology and getting people to react. This is a means to manipulate and control.
Let's learn to THINK and not to REACT!
