Secure Login Authentication System using USB Device (Flash Drive, Phone) Unlock Key Tutorial? ( C# )
edit.co Today I would like to present to you an idea which came to my mind the other day and yes I know this is not a brand new innovation. I thought using a usb device such as a flash drive or your mobile phone as a password for a login authentication system would be a cool and secure / safe way. So I created this authentication procedure with c# and demonstrate it using my usb flash drive as the key to proceed through the login process and be granted access to whatever.
This can also be used as a two factor / two step authentication method.
Let me know if you can think of vulnerabilities this procedure may have and tell me whether you would like to see a tutorial about this in the future and where you would apply this method.
