Team Associated B44.3 Build in 2 minutes ! A timelapse from my build of the Associated B44.3 from box to soldering electronics !
The build went ok. Some things could be made way better, but it's not that it is impossible. I had a little notch in both diffs where I was a little unsure about, the diff felt smooth, except for 1 tooth. After a race now it feels just smooth as butter without a problem.
I put on the RPM arms right away, because I knew that the standard front arms break way to fast, so I don't wanna take any risk. I hope you enjoyed you build and this video !
I drove the car already and it feels great. First time driving was at a local race and I was first in the B-Main, never scored that high ! After changing diff fluids from 5k-60k-5k to 7k-300k-5k for carpet the car was planted, but he landed the jumps a bit to hard, so I changed shock oils from both 35 to 30WT oil (standard pistons). With that change the car felt even better and you could launch the car controlled while steering. The landing felt soft and on the low grip sections he had even more traction !
