These are better then the basement grade ones that come with cheap welders, the cast brass clamp is a copy of the Hobart T-Series and is pretty good but may not be the best choice over the simple clamp as it has a little less pressure on thin material and can break if dropped repeatedly or if it is dropped from heights.
