Before Tinder and Bumble, there was a video dating site - Youtube for singles.
In 2004 3 Paypal employees Steve, Chad and Jawed started working on a website for users to upload video dating profiles.
They wanted the platform to serve as means for people to share videos talking about themselves and the partner of their dreams. Their slogan was - Tune in, hook up.
But things didn't go as they had planned and people started uploading videos of just about everything. Videos of their dogs, vacations, and food.
