Analyze Job Ads to Avoid Surprises with ChatGPT
Accepting a job that is not what they said it would be in the interview is horribly frustrating, but how could you have known? Do you know someone who took a job only to be laid off or downsized along with their entire department just 3 or 4 months after they started? Awful!!
ChatGPT can be used for more than just writing cover letters and thank you notes. You can use it to find and analyze clues about job responsibilities and financial solvency that are embedded directly into the publicly posted job ads!

The Prompt:
Act as an experienced recruiter with expertise in assessing essential job responsibilities to analyze the job description below for 3 things.
1. Identify the 3 most important responsibilities of the job.
2. Find any skills or responsibilities not typically required of someone in this type of job. For example, programmers are rarely required to repair printers. I'm looking for any indications that this job might not be exactly as it is being portrayed.
3. Based your analysis, what insights can we gain about the status of the company? For example, if there are responsibilities typically covered by two different jobs, money could be tight and people have to work long hours and multiple shifts, or layoffs might be coming soon.
