Ab Imperio Lecture'22: Brigid O'Keeffe
Brigid O'Keeffe is the winner of Ab Imperio 2021 Award for the best study in new imperial history and history of diversity in Northern Eurasia, up to the late twentieth century for the book Esperanto and Languages of Internationalism in Revolutionary Russia (Bloomsbury Academic, 2021). On Monday, September 19, 2022, she gave the Ab Imperio Lecture “Radical Empathy: How Esperanto Reimagined the Russian Empire and Defies Historical Imagination” at the University of Illinois Chicago.
