In this video, we're continuing our B1 German lessons and covering the Plusquamperfekt tense, one of the past tenses. The difference between this tense and the Perfekt tense is that it refers to an earlier past event; the event has already happened and has no effect on the present. Präteritum is used in written language, Perfekt in spoken language, and Plusquamperfekt in both written and spoken language. If we formulate it:
hatten/war @2partizip+ Partizip2
