3rd time filming at Burnham Station on the Great Western Main Line 1st time since November 2021 featuring Great Western Railway, Elizabeth Line services and also some freight as well.

Burnham opened was originally as Burnham Beeches on July 1st 1899 however it only last for over 17 years which for financial reasons would close on April 2nd 1917 however it reopened again on March 3rd 1919.

The station was renamed Burnham (Bucks) on September 1st 1930 however the Bucks suffix was dropped on May 5th 1975 when it became Burnham

It’s the only station between London Paddington and Reading which has dedicated platforms for the slow lines only which makes it vulnerable to closure if the slow lines are closed for engineering works between Slough and Maidenhead.

The Class 387s first began running west of Hayes & Harlington in January 2018 when electric trains began running to and from Didcot Parkway which nowadays providing the semi stoppers between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway as well as services to and from Newbury.

Since December 2019 all services at Burnham are now provided by Elizabeth Line in the form of Class 345s which first introduced as 7 car sets however in recent years extended to 9 cars however due to the short platform means only the doors of the front 8 cars open.

It was rebranded from TFL Rail in May 2022 when the central section of the Elizabeth Line between Paddington and Abbey Wood opened however it wasn't until November that year when all links to Shenfield on the Great Eastern Main Line was connected

Full running of the Elizabeth Line began in May 2023 with Reading and Maidenhead services alternating west of Hayes & Harlington which originate mainly to and from Abbey Wood whilst Heathrow services to Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 originate from Shenfield.

On the morning of filming Elizabeth Line were running with minor delays due to a fault with the signalling system near London Paddington

Great Western Railway services towards Cheltenham Spa were cut back to Stroud due to engineering works between Stroud and Cheltenham Spa as well as effecting services between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester via Yate.
