Hi Fellow Game Devs! In this video tutorial I am gonna show you how to make a basic searh bar that searches through a list / array of strings inside a scroll view.
This can be super helpful in apps with a long list of names or numbers or whatever you want to search through. Keep in mind this is not the perfect search bar, it does have its own flaws like not being able to fetch names that dont match all the starting characters.
But it’s good enough to get you started and experimenting around to create a better search bar! Also, if you want to know how I created the whole UI, do let me know.
