Skylab was America's first space station. Shortly after launch the micrometeoroid shield ripped off exposing the shiny gold layer underneath. As the shield tore away, one of the main solar arrays partially deployed. During staging, a retrorocket exhaust hit the partially deployed arrays completely ripping it off the spacecraft.
The Airlock Module (AM) was located between the Multiple Docking Adapter (MDA) and the Orbital Workshop (OWS). The AM was could be sealed off from the rest of the space station and depressurized to support space walks. The outer door was based upon a Gemini spacecraft hatch. Astronauts performed space walks to change film on the Apollo Telescope Mount (ATM), to perform maintenance, and to conduct experiments.

Animation notes:
-Animation done in Blender with all models built by me. Used the lower quality EEVEE engine to reduce render times. But I did use 30 frames per second for the Skylab series vs 24 FPS I have used in previous Apollo videos.
-Skylab Modeling is in the undamaged state. My models shows both main arrays and the shield in place. However I did not animate the deployment of the shield. If the actual shield deployed, it would slightly lift off the surface all around the vehicle
-I did not model the thermal blanket at the base of the airlock module in order for you to see the details underneath the blanket.
