Skylab: 1st Floor Experiment Support System (A Blender Animation)
Skylab was America's first space station. Shortly after launch the micrometeoroid shield ripped off exposing the shiny gold layer underneath. As the shield tore away, one of the main solar arrays partially deployed. During staging, a retrorocket exhaust hit the partially deployed arrays completely ripping it off the spacecraft. The Orbital Workshop (OWS) had 2 floors. This video focuses on the first floor.

Animation notes:
-Skylab Modeling is in the undamaged state. My models shows both main arrays and the shield in place. However I did not animate the deployment of the shield. If the actual shield deployed, it would slightly lift off the surface all around the vehicle
-I did not model the thermal blanket at the base of the airlock module in order for you to see the details underneath the blanket.
