TOOLS AND COVER determine river erosion, and imbrication
We are camping on a gravel bar during a kayak trip down the Buffalo National River in Arkansas, which allows me to talk about the conditions needed for rivers to erode bedrock. It's not just flowing water - we need tools to abrade, but not too many of them!
