Just for your information, this is just a crackship I came up with over 2 years ago. It seemed completely random back then but there will actually be some moments between them in the upcoming new anime season in 2018!
I choose this song because when Mest agreed on his mission, he new that when he left, everyone would forget him. It wasn't until the Grand Magic Games when he finally gained his memories of his friends back.
