The reason I haven't uploaded
Some of you will be aware I have not uploaded for a while
This is the reason why
On Wednesday 24 April my mother was taken to hospital with a suspected stroke.
She deteriorated with a large bleed on the brain and on 30th April the decision was made to keep her comfortable.
She passed on the 4th of May.
This video is a tribute to my mum.
Her parents were told she would never live beyond her teenage years and would most certainly never have children.
She was 81
And had 2 children
After having many operations as a baby to remove what would have been her twin from inside of her she was overprotected as a child.
Her own mother spent years suffering with breast cancer and mum lived many years with the anxiety that her mother would die.
She had a strong Christian faith and as a teenager would travel with her friends from YLC , one time smuggling bibles into Albania .
Later She married my dad, Bob. and soon had my brother Stephen and myself.
Her life was spent serving God by loving people.
Even when she struggled with mobility near the end she would sit and knit 5 hats a night for the shoebox appeal, an organisation that sends Christmas boxes to children in 3rd world countries.
I will miss my Mum terribly but have peace she is with her saviour.
In the front of her bible, she had written
If Jesus is first, you will know what comes next.
