Mommy and Me photography with Holi! It gets messy quick!
Behind the scenes look into a color session. A mommy and me session with color!
We bought Holi powder and it’s really potent in color so we mixed it with flour to soften the colors a bit.
We then went into the backyard and kept it simple. This was taken during the winter so the snow acted as a natural reflector, so no flash used, just natural lighting with high shutter speed to capture images sharply as they played.
This was a great way to have fun and when the snow melted it washed away the color. We did this in her backyard, careful as people would think we vandalized property. It washes away like chalk.
