A discussion between chaos magician Phil Hine and Treadwells Bookshop founder Dr Christina Oakley-Harrington. The occasion was the launch of Hine's book "Queerying Occultures", and Hine ended up talking about many of his experiences as an openly gender-variant occultist in the 80s, and how the weird homophobia of the occult scene influenced the creation of chaos magic.
By weird coincidence I happened to be in Treadwell's on the night of this book launch, so I volunteered to record the whole talk. The video was recorded on a phone so it's a bit rough, but the talk seems to be audible. I hope you find it interesting!
