Fishing for giants in raging current on 4lb line! *YOUTUBE FIRST*
In this episode, I head off with a good mate to fish the beaches of iconic Botany Bay where in the year 1770 Captain James Cook and his Endeavour crew landed. This event had a dramatic impact on Australian History. We intended to do some landbased lure fishing for some bread and butter species: Flathead, Bream, Trevally, Whiting & Tailor. We fished ultra-light setups, using 4lb lines and 1-3kg rods but did not except to a tangle lines with a stubborn Yellowtail Kingfish which was lurking in the raging current waiting to strike.
