The Darkroom Lab Collaboration Teaser
I met Philip Steblay, owner of the Darkroom in San Clemente at a Beers and Cameras event in San Diego 2 months ago. Phil and I got along right away (as I knew we would). We immediately started planning an event around his film lab in collaboration with the fine folks of Beers and Cameras. What we came up with was a film photography conference-workshop and lab tour, and a camera meet-up at the local pubs in the evening. In the process, I was able to interview Philip, some of his staff, as well as some big figures in the film photography world, like skate photography legend J. Grant Brittain. Please enjoy this teaser and look forward to full episodes in the weeks to come.
