Thanks for watching! This video gives you a pattern (but not an in depth tutorial) of the Ribbon bonus square for our 2020 Filet CAL blanket.

This year we are going to work 12 different graphs (one representing each month) in filet crochet. You can turn these into a nice blanket at the end of the year, or, if you prefer, you can use them individually as placemats, or table coverings, chairbacks... etc!
Materials:
at least 150-200yds of yarn per month (I'm using 4 weight acrylic)
4.5mm crochet hook
Using these materials, my square measures about 14 inches wide and 10.5 inches tall.
Feel free to play around with your hook size and yarns if you'd like!
