D3261 engine start up4
The restoration team gathered at Hayes Knoll to witness the engine start up on Class 08 D3261. This is the first time the engine has run since 1984. The loco's restoration started in summer 2005 and this is a very significant milestone in the loco's restoration. Since this day the side rods have been refitted and repainted.
