In this video Paul Andersen explains how electric circuits contain different elements which can be connected in series or in parallel. The following four elements are explained in detail; emf, resistor, capacitor, and switch and it is a very simple circuit . The voltage and current of resistors in both series and parallel are explained.
This procedure is tedious, but it requires very little fancy math and it's conceptually beautiful. so it is a very nice and simple circuit. You ought to be able to look at the finished product and explain WHY the values of voltage drops and currents for each resistor and combination of resistors have the relationships they do. the circuit is a transistor, a resestor, a swice, a load, a source, a weir and etc. You can now simplify any circuit with just one battery and a bunch of resistors or can you?
