300 subscribers! Thank you all so much for staying, it's been a wild ride that's been going on for five years. It means a lot to have you watch / listen to my piano covers, and it motivates me to keep on going. Now, it was high time my Game of the Year 2020 got its own cover. When Reddit user /u/MartinFTW posted their sheets on the Baba is You subreddit (link at the end), it gave me an extra boost to record this one. Huge props to them for their sheets that helped me a ton ❤
Onto the track itself, it is much harder that it seems. The rhythm is hard, the polyphony is insane, especially in the section towards the end that has a bass, a melody and the eights in the middle: it's a freakin' nightmare!
Now, this recording was one of the most frustrating to go through, I hope it doesn't show in the final take. It took about three hours of recording to finally get this two and and half minute track in the box!
