Unveiling the Mysterious World of Ocean Worms
There are thousands of species of worms in the worlds oceans.
Some tiny, some more than eight feet long.
Some of them feed on plankton and some are veracious predators.
There are worms that swim gracefully in the water column and worms that scour the ocean floor for detritus, or ocean debris.
Some are beautiful, like the Gossamer Worm, some quite weird, like the Acorn Worm and some down right scary like the Sand Striker.
Bristle worms, scale worms, tube worms, sand worms, rag worms, feather worms, they come in all shapes and sizes.
They can be found right across the globe in all the planets oceans, from the cold abyssal plain to the extreme temperatures of hydrothermal vents.
In this video we will take a look at six different worms that you won’t find in your garden.
