WisEye Morning Minute: Election-Related A.I. Deepfakes
On June 12, 2024 the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) hosted a panel conversation on artificial intelligence (AI). From streamlining operational efficiencies to fueling innovation across all industries, AI is impacting businesses and our society in profound ways. The conversation considered opportunities, challenges and, importantly, the policy conversations needed at different levels of government to ensure the advancement of AI is both responsible and producing equitable outcomes. In this clip, FiscalNote and co-founder & CEO of Curate Taralinda Willis offered a cautionary note on the potential for deepfakes connected to the 2024 election, as well as a brief summary of sate and federal legislation on this topic.
