Harman Kardon CD-491: Audio-Gasm

The HK CD-491 performs tremendously after having belts replaced and a tune-up. Dolby HX Pro enables the recording to have crisp clear high frequencies without distorting. dbx noise reduction allows dynamic range to be near 100db, same as a CD.
You may notice that this particular CD-491 is different version. Most other versions have either a full champagne color or a full black motif.
This one has a hybrid of both. The front panel is black, but the knobs and pushbuttons are champagne. I didn't know it was coming this way when I ordered it back in 1984. It must be the AAFES model that is sold overseas, as I was stationed in Korea when I had it drop shipped to my home back in Nebraska, where my wife received it. Underneath, it has a switch to change the voltage from 120 to 240 AC. A worldwide model. Thanks for watching. Future videos of this deck upcoming.
