Remembering a Summer Long Ago on Lake Metigoshe
Destination: Lake Metigoshe in Bottineau County
-In this episode, I'm remembering a time in my life that held some sort of magic. Like so many other places in my lifetime that held a special meaning for me, I find this one, too, has slipped through the portal of time and into that dimension where it is no longer accessible to me. What? Yeah. You can go home, but you can never go home is what I've found all too often. Still, it was worth it to me to at least see the place where I had found life to be very wonderful. Bonus, I got to chat with a resident of the area who was there all those years ago, too. We had a nice chat, and it made the visit all the better.
