(First Extreme(?)) "Acu" by neigefeu | Geometry Dash
I can't believe that it's finally done, after quitting this level (and the game as a whole) for a year, it's actually done, it feels unreal. when I started doing runs on this level all the way back in mid-2020 (the year where I was still a mobile player), the level felt doable, but I couldn't fully grasp the gameplay of some of the parts, but as I did more and more runs on this level, the "ungraspable" parts became second nature to me, and I realized that I was actually capable of beating a level of this difficulty - and so, I spent A LOT of attempts trying to beat it, like, around 22k, which is an overwhelming amount of attempts now that I'm looking back at it, but I didn't care, because I was really enjoying this level, so I kept playing, getting 55% after a few weeks or so, and then getting 63%-100% a month later (yeah, slow progress, I know.), then fluking it from 55%-76% and then finally, the last progress I have ever made, 86%, after that record, I completely ceased in making progress on this level. I "quit" the game in January of 2021, around this time, I was more focused on playing osu!, I decided to come back to the game in November of 2021 after getting a little bit bored of osu!. started derusting, and beat a level called "in rainbows" by Lfritz. and if I don't recall incorrectly, that's the only level I beat in my derust period. after beating that level, I logged back in to my account, and started doing some runs on a bunch of levels, like Penombre, The Ultimate Phase, Glide and a couple others. after this level, I'm probably gonna go for Prismatic Haze, though, I might do another level first
and about the level itself, despite my luck not being the best on this, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this level, it's just SO good and is definitely one of (if not) my favorite.
