Volvo EX-30 – I Now Know Why It's Car of the Year
In this episode, we test Volvo's new electric car, the EX-30. It's a positive surprise in many respects, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h faster than an Audi RS5 and costing just under 250,000 PLN fully equipped. However, if you're on a tighter budget, you can get this electric SUV for just under 170,000 PLN.
The interior embraces minimalism, but it's not just about style – it's both more interesting and more affordable. The dashboard and door designs look great. Our test car features the Mist interior, with wool-polyester blend materials, linen trim, and a black headliner – all in keeping with the typically Scandinavian style. More than a sixth of the plastics and aluminum used in the EX-30 are recycled, which also makes it look appealing.
The Volvo EX-30 is available in two versions, and both are fast. The basic version produces 272 hp, has rear-wheel drive, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. For 20,000 PLN, you can increase the battery capacity from 49 to 64 kWh net, increasing the combined range from 344 to 480 km.
