We’re doing a microscopic analysis of 8 verses in the Bible…specifically that time when Elijah took a couple naps.On our tour today I’ll be taking you all through a historical analysis, structural analysis, comparing translations, literary analysis, and finally drawing out some theological implications. Together we’ll uncover that through intense exegetical study of 1 Kings 19:1-8, one finds God’s historic care for those fleeing power and crying out in the wilderness.
