I am so excited to let you all know that my partner Mark and I are officially engaged! I found this silk skirt at an estate sale for only $2 and knew I would be able to turn it into something beautiful to wear for our engagement photoshoot. I embroidered our birth month flowers, which are poppies and cosmos for a personal touch. I absolutely LOVE the way the embroidery turned out but it definitely humbled me because I forgot how much time hand embroidery takes! I also wanted to include my Chinese heritage so I chose to include a mandarin collar for my top and went with a simple skirt silhouette. I hope you like this outfit as much as I do!
