In this video, I walk you through setting up n8n on a Raspberry Pi using Docker Compose, NGINX reverse proxy, and local HTTPS with mkcert — all running securely on your local network.
This setup is ideal if you want:
A self-hosted n8n instance
HTTPS access without browser warnings
A clean Docker-based deployment
A foundation that can later be moved to a public domain
I cover everything from assigning a static IP, generating local SSL certificates, configuring NGINX, and launching n8n using Docker Compose.
