AI Seminar No 3 with Joe Houghton & Paul Cuffe Oct 2023
Joe is the author of a recent book “Innovative teaching with AI: Creative approaches to enhancing learning in education”. This seminar will provide a hands-on opportunity to explore ideas on how to embrace AI for teaching, learning and assessment.
Dr. Paul Cuffe Lecturer Electrical & Electronic Engineering, joins Joe to give an outline on his research as part of the Satle Project. Paul's focus is on understanding new threats and opportunities amidst the rise of chatbot artificial intelligence. He highlights which assessment formats can still preserve academic integrity; he also has suggestions as to how module coordinators should evolve their assessment strategies in light of these powerful new tools.
