The 4-Legged Soldiers of the Spanish Army.
They are man's best friend. Capable of doing anything for their master.
In the Armed Forces, they perform decisive functions in a large number of units.
In security and combat tasks, as drug and explosive detectors, or in the search and rescue of people, both alive and deceased, and of course, they are also present on international missions.
But before being prepared, handler and dog, always united, must complete a training course at the Defense Canine School.
This course can range from 5 months to a year, depending on the difficulty of the tasks the dog can take on.
Today, the Armed Forces have more than a thousand dogs distributed throughout the country working for the three armies and fulfilling priority duties for National Security.
The dog's flexibility and enormous capabilities make them potentially useful in the many jobs that constitute canine specialties.
