Knit for Mary F - Bill Evans "repeated note tune"
This is one of Evans' later compositions. According to Peter Pettinger's bio of Bill it was named for Mary Franksen "in return for her motherly affection and 'thousands' of clothing items she had knitted for Bill's family."
I borrowed from the Beatles' "Please, Please Me" to harmonize the opening set of repeated notes.
